ENFRANCHISEMENT AND RIGHT TO MANAGE AWARDS WINNERS ANNOUNCED

The UK Residential Property Industry recognised the best in Enfranchisement and Right to Manage at a special black-tie awards dinner held at Lord's Cricket Ground in London on 12th May 2010.  The awards were organised by News on the Block, the leading publication in this sector, and hosted by celebrity Dominic Holland.

The Awards were judged by an independent panel comprising Georgiana Hibberd of RICS Professional Group, Bob Smytherman of the Federation of Private Residents' Associations and Peter Rodd of the Law Society Property Section.

The Award winners were:

Young Professional of the Year

Winner: Yashmin Mistry - Brethertons
Highly Commended: Marie Joyce - Marr Johnson & Stevens
Finalists: Marie Joyce from Marr Johnson and Stevens, Yashmin Mistry from Brethertons, and Sajel Patel from TJM Law.


Freehold Acquisition, Lease Extension or Right to Manage Project of the Year

Winner: Marr Johnson & Stevens
Finalists: Marr Johnson & Stevens LLP, and Chainbow.

 
Regional Solicitor of the Year

Winner: Griffith Smith Farrington Webb
Finalists: Brethertons Solicitors, Griffith Smith Farrington Webb, Hatchers and TJM Law.

Best Managing Agent of an Enfranchised or Right to Manage Building

Winner:
Chainbow
Highly Commended: Colin Cohen Property Management.
Finalists: Chainbow, Lamberts and Colin Cohen Property Management.


Individual Solicitor of the Year

Winner: Yashmin Mistry - Brethertons
Highly Commended: Andrew Cross of Hatchers solicitors.
