What others say about them

Director, Holst Mansions
“We have been delighted with the service provided by Willmotts’ property management team. As well as keeping us up-to-date with essential information, their representatives attend all our directors' meetings, providing valuable contributions each time.

“In addition, they respond to our queries promptly and deal with debtors efficiently. It is also reassuring that we can call on the support of the appropriate manager at Willmotts if we need to.

“We were particularly impressed with the quality of work carried out by Willmotts’ surveyors during our recent refurbishment. All in all, a good team!”

Director, Riverside Estates
“After an unsatisfactory experience with our last managing agents, we embarked upon a rigorous and detailed appointment process, following which we appointed Willmotts. This proved to be a wise move, as to date they have provided an excellent service.

“One of our main concerns with our last agents was the transparency of information we received, particularly in financial areas. But where we felt let down before, we now feel that our funds are well managed and as though we are in control of our company again.

“The property managers assigned to us by Willmotts have been diligent, polite and quick to respond to our communications. We also receive valuable input from senior members at Willmotts when it is required.

“As our estate totals more than 300 units, understandably difficult situations arise, however, Willmotts are quick to step in and resolve these quickly.

“We have recently instructed Willmotts’ surveyors to manage the external decoration of our estate and they successfully handled the internal refurbishment of almost 80 flats two years ago, achieving a quality finish, within budget and on time”.

What we say about them:

Willmotts has more than two decades’ experience of providing a range of property management services. The original partnership was incorporated in 1856 and Willmotts Chartered Surveyors was established in 1997, there is clearly a demonstrable level of building and surveying expertise amongst the team, which is reinforced by qualifications from professional bodies, such as the MRICS (Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors), and client’s testimonials.

Willmotts’ technical know-how makes them an useful partner if you are a new build development or a building with a major works maintenance project coming up in the future. With a separate Building Consultancy and Surveying division, they pride themselves on being able to provide many other property services under one roof. Unlike some property management companies, who have diversified so much that the quality of their original residential property management services has been reduced, Willmotts still regard it as one of the most important areas of its practice.

Willmotts charge by the number of units in the building or a fixed fee agreed with their clients. This will be attractive to some budget-conscious clients, particularly those small or medium sized buildings located in London (or nearby) looking for a long-established managing agent with a range of in-house skills.
