Directors & Officers Liability Insurance
Directors & officers Liability Insurance offers financial protection to directors, partners or officers of management companies, residents associations or RTM companies of blocks of flats. It provides cover for liabilities that may arise for errors and omissions made in the course of managing the block on behalf of its residents.
We can offer indemnity limits from £100,000 to £2,000,000.
As a director, partner or officer of a company you have many responsibilities – to employees, members of the public, investors and regulators. In any of these areas you could be exposed to personal liability for actions or omissions made in the performance company duties. You could personally be the subject of claims which could lead to the payment of fines, compensation or imprisonment.

Lifts and other Plant & Machinery
As the owner or manager of a block of flats, you need to know that lifts have to be inspected at six monthly intervals. Under our policy we’ll arrange the inspections which will highlight any remedial work required.
Lifts also have additional insurance requirements and we can include under one policy, cover for Sudden & Unforeseen Damage, Breakdown, Electrical Shorting, Burning Out and damage caused by Operating Error.
Your building may also contain other equipment (e.g. hot water and heating supplies, air conditioning units, service lifts, generators, window cleaning gantries and the like) that also have a statutory requirement for inspection.
Give you and your management team peace of mind that in the event of a home emergency your residents can get help quickly and easily. An emergency can happen at any time and our comprehensive home emergency cover means your residents can get problems from storm damage to failure of boilers and central heating resolved quickly and efficiently. Cover can be provided for flats and/or communal areas.

Terrorism can take many forms, and properties at risk are not necessarily located in inner-city business districts. For example, properties on bus routes and under flight paths may be at higher risk.
Many businesses do not know that cover for damage to your property as a result of a terrorist attack is not automatically included in their business insurance.
