ARMA's new training programme

ARMA has radically overhauled its professional training programme in the face of government proposals for property professionals to hold recognised qualifications. The new programme goes hand in hand with ARMA’s core aim of raising the standards in property management.

The training covers all areas of residential leasehold management, legal, health & safety and fire management, accounting, insurance, RMC and RTM company management, site staff, human resources and general interest.

ARMA continually updates and refreshes its training, taking into account changes in legislation and other external factors. This ensures its members’ needs are met by expanding their knowledge and giving employees the confidence they need to deal with the day-to-day practicalities of implementing these changes.

Courses are offered at various levels and locations ensuring that there is always a learning opportunity for everyone with Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Refresher level courses available.

As part of the redesigned programme, the Association has created a ‘Residential Leasehold Management Career Pathway’ recommending particular training courses (with timescales) specific to those building a career in the sector.

There is also a ‘Lettings to Residential Leasehold Management Pathway’ (again with timescales) for individuals with a background in lettings who wish to branch into residential leasehold management.

In addition to classroom-based training, ARMA offers in-house training, bespoke courses and webinars.

All courses provide Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and are designed and delivered by industry experts. Training is open to members and non-members.
