Bishop & Sewell promotes two to equity partner

Bishop & Sewell, a leading full service Central London law firm, announces the promotion of two existing Partners, Chris Macartney and David Little, to the Equity Partnership team with immediate effect.

Chris Macartney, is a Partner in the Landlord & Tenant team and is a specialist in the niche area of leasehold enfranchisement with extensive experience in this area, acting for both landlords and tenants in contentious and non-contentious matters. He has considerable experience in leasehold reform issues, acting for individuals and companies, groups of tenants in collective claims, landed estates and housing associations. He also regularly advises in other Landlord & Tenant matters relating to both commercial and residential property. Chris is also an active member of ALEP, the Association of Leasehold and Enfranchisement Practitioners.

David Little, is a Partner in the Corporate & Commercial team and also Head of Sports Law for the firm. David is a business lawyer, focusing on transactional work, especially acquisitions and disposals of businesses. He also focuses on smaller cap listings and fundraisings on the Standard List, AIM and NEX. As a passionate sportsman and spectator, David has built up a credible sports practice, focusing particularly on governance matters and on marketing, merchandise and sports finance generally. David serves as a Director on the Board of Supporters Direct, the umbrella organisation for Supporters Trust.
