Property law firm Brady Solicitors has unveiled its latest heavyweight appointment with the recruitment of experienced solicitor and property management specialist Jonathan Watts to the new role of Head of Operations. Jonathan joins Brady Solicitors from SLC Solicitors where he was Operations and Audit Manager. In his new role as Head of Operations, Jonathan will be working closely with Managing Director Clare Brady and IT Manager Vin Chauhan to streamline workflows and develop the powerful next generation reporting tool for the firm’s property management clients. Jonathan will also lead Brady Solicitors’ client care initiatives. Commenting on the appointment Clare Brady, MD of Brady Solicitors, said: “Jonathan’s appointment is a significant one in our ongoing drive to continually enhance our services to clients. His unique blend of legal property management expertise and high volume litigation experience is already having an immediate and positive impact on the quality of our service charge recovery product and our day to day liaison with clients. “We are delighted to welcome Jonathan to our fast-growing team.” Jonathan qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and has held senior positions with leading law firms and a FTSE 100 insurer. Before moving into property management law he spent over 20 years acting for insurance companies, where he developed valuable experience in high volume claims handling and case management systems. Commenting on his appointment, Jonathan said: “From my first conversations with Clare it was apparent to me that Brady Solicitors is a very professional and well-run firm. I was impressed with the commitment to client service and the drive for continual improvement and am looking forward to meeting clients and understanding how we can continue to best meet their needs and exceed their expectations. “An early priority is to harness the new business intelligence tool to enhance our reporting function and I will also be working closely with the service charge team to identify areas where we can further enhance the arrears recovery process on behalf of our clients.” Jonathan joined Brady Solicitors on 4 July 2016 and is based at the firm’s headquarters in Nottingham city centre.
