What We Do

Type 1 Fire Risk Assessments

We specialise in Type 1 Fire Risk Assessments, involving non-destructive inspections of the common parts of residential and commercial buildings, carried out in line with current fire safety legislation and recognised guidance.

Our experience covers a wide range of premises, including:

Each assessment is completed on behalf of the Responsible Person and is designed to identify fire hazards, evaluate existing fire safety measures, and reduce both the likelihood of fire occurring and the potential consequences should one arise.
Our aim is for you to be watertight as far as your responsibilities on fire safety are concerned, and our reports will do just that.

Our approach is risk-based and proportionate, recognising that no two buildings are the same. We provide recommendations that are appropriate to the level of risk, the nature of the building, and its occupancy, ensuring compliance that is practical and defensible.

Fire Door Surveys

Fire doors are a critical element of the fire safety strategy, playing a key role in containing fire and smoke and protecting escape routes. Our Fire Door Surveys assess the condition, performance, and compliance of fire doors within residential and commercial buildings.

Surveys are undertaken by suitably qualified inspectors and include a detailed review.

Any defects or non-compliances are clearly identified, with recommendations prioritised based on risk. This enables clients to take informed, timely action and demonstrate a proactive approach to fire safety management.
