AgentOS is proud to announce the launch of its integrated OFSI (Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation) monitoring tool, delivering real-time sanctions screening directly within the AgentOS and Calmony platforms. This automation, described by Managing Director Glyn Trott as "OFSI in a box," is designed to help letting agents meet increasing regulatory demands with minimal disruption to their operations.

This new service continuously checks landlords, tenants, and contractors against the official sanctions register every 24 hours. The system flags any matches and alerts users immediately, allowing for prompt AML (Anti-Money Laundering) checks and risk mitigation.

“Already, we’ve seen results,” said Glyn. “Most hits are false positives, but we’ve had cases where we've needed to notify customers to conduct urgent AML checks. In one instance, we found a company name on a landlord’s bank account that was a 100% match on the sanctions list.”

The system is available to all AgentOS CRM users, AgentPay customers, and Calmony clients with client bank accounts, creating a seamless, automated compliance process for agents. As long as users have front-end AML procedures in place—including Right to Rent and landlord checks—the monitoring is fully managed by AgentOS, ensuring ongoing compliance with minimal manual oversight.

This initiative is particularly relevant as the industry sees growing difficulties in opening and maintaining client bank accounts. According to Glyn, “Half the applicants for client accounts are startups that simply can’t get one, while the rest are established businesses facing loss of access. OFSI compliance is now a major consideration in banking.”

AgentOS invites all letting agents and property professionals to take advantage of this new offering, which combines cutting-edge automation with robust compliance support, helping the industry stay ahead of evolving regulations.
