Associate Solicitor Opportunity in Brethertons Award-Winning Property Litigation Team

Brethertons Solicitors is looking for a Solicitor to join its award-winning Property Litigation and Leasehold team. This is a new position offering the opportunity to work alongside highly respected experts, including Partner Roger Hardwick, an award-winning specialist in Residential Leasehold law. Roger’s caseload spans the length and breadth of residential leasehold focusing on all aspects from Building Safety Act issues and complex litigation through to dealing with contested Right to Manage and collective enfranchisement cases. Some of which have been heard at all levels of the courts and tribunals, including the Supreme Court.

The successful candidate will play a key role in an expanding team, handling litigated property matters with a focus on leasehold issues, supported by Trainee Solicitors, Paralegals, and Legal Assistants.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Client-focused, professional, and attentive to detail

  • Highly organised, with the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure

  • A strong team player able to manage client expectations confidently

  • Knowledgeable in Property Law (essential)

Experience in leasehold law, lease mechanics, and Landlord and Tenant matters is desirable but not essential. Candidates must be able to follow established procedures and maintain full compliance with SRA and other regulatory requirements.
