Association for Rental Living appoints new Chair of its North East and Yorkshire Hub

Since 1 September 2026, Frudd has led the Hub's work on local advocacy, engaging with government and raising awareness of how Build to Rent can help with the region's housing challenges.

Frudd is a Senior Planning Director at Quod, with more than 25 years' experience of large, complex residential, commercial and regionally strategic developments. He takes over as Chair from Paul Beattie of Glide UK and will work alongside Vice Chair Dan Asquith of BRE.

Brendan Geraghty, CEO of the Association for Rental Living, said: "We are delighted that Richard will lead the next phase of the Hub's valuable work, with education, networking and events all contributing to the success and growth of the residential living sector in the North East and Yorkshire.

"The Association for Rental Living would also like to thank outgoing Chair Paul Beattie of Glide for his extensive work in founding the Hub back in 2024, which came at a key moment for Build to Rent schemes in the region."

The Hub's first event under Frudd will be its Winter Social on 26 November 2026. It is open to members and non-members, and will be an evening of networking and market updates with people from across the rental living industry. Places can be booked online.
