
Experienced commercial property lawyer Ben Loosemore has joined national law firm Clarke Willmott as a partner in its Southampton office.
Ben joins the firm from Moore Barlow and brings extensive experience advising developers, landowners, investors and property businesses on a broad range of residential and commercial development matters. He has particular expertise in development land acquisitions and disposals, strategic land transactions, development agreements and commercial property matters.
Ben advises clients throughout the lifecycle of development projects, from site acquisition and assembly through to development and eventual disposal. His experience includes complex land transactions, promotion and option agreements, conditional contracts, overage arrangements, joint venture structures and development agreements.
Ben Loosemore also advises on strategic land matters and site assembly projects, helping clients navigate issues such as access rights, easements, infrastructure agreements and other title matters that can affect development opportunities. Alongside his development practice, Ben advises landlords and tenants on a range of commercial property transactions including agreements for lease, lease renewals, assignments, underlettings and asset management matters.
