South East property group, Beresfords, is proud to announce the outstanding success of its 2025 property dinner and auction, held at the prestigious Pan Pacific Hotel London.
The event held at the end of September raised an incredible £52,808 in aid of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) charity – the highest total in the annual event’s history.
Supported by headline sponsor, Rightmove, the property dinner, now in its sixth year, brought together over 300 guests from across the property industry and regional business community for a night of celebration, fundraising and community spirit.
Alongside Rightmove – the dinner was supported by Mode Photo, Agent canvassing, Libre solutions, Sona insurance, FCC Paragon, Reapit, Handelsbanken, Tidywork, Sona Insurance and Dedman Gray.
The event featured a drinks reception, three-course dinner, auction and luxury raffle, with all proceeds going directly to support lifesaving services provided by EHAAT. Guests were captivated by EHAAT patient George Peasgood, who joined Dr Gareth Grier, EHAAT’s Centre for Excellence Associate Medical Director on stage to reflect on the life-saving care he received after a serious head injury.
Essex and Herts Air Ambulance provide a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) by bringing the hospital to the critically ill and injured patients of Essex, Hertfordshire, and surrounding areas. The lifesaving service receives limited government funding, relying on charitable donations to operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Every critical care team consists of a skilled pilot and co-pilot, pre-hospital care doctor and a critical care paramedic, and all money raised will go to supporting its valuable services to the community. Beresfords has been a long-standing supporting partner of EHAAT and has now raised over £152,000 for the charity in total.
Paul Beresford, CEO of Beresfords, said: “We are absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone who attended and supported this year’s event. Moving the dinner to London was a bold step, but it paid off in every sense - not only did we raise a record-breaking total, but we also welcomed more partners, supporters and guests than ever before.
“A huge thank you to Rightmove for their invaluable headline sponsorship, and to everyone who donated, bid and took part. Every penny raised will go to the frontline – saving lives and making a difference in our beloved local communities."
Rob Goodwin, Area Director of Rightmove, said: “It’s been a privilege to support this fantastic event and see first-hand the impact the hardworking Beresfords team continues to have. The energy in the room last night was electric and it’s clear this is more than just a fundraiser; it’s a movement that brings the industry together each year for a cause that truly matters.”
Mark Jarman-Howe, CEO of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, said: “This incredible total is a testament to the generosity and community spirit that defines Beresfords and their partners. We’re so thankful to everyone who attended, donated and bid on the night, your support helps ensure our teams can continue delivering life-saving care, day and night, across Essex and Hertfordshire. Beresfords have been long-standing champions of our charity, and we’re truly humbled by their ongoing commitment.”
George Peasgood, EHAAT patient & Paralympian, said: “Being invited to attend the recent Beresford Property Dinner and seeing so many people come together to support Essex & Herts Air Ambulance means the world to me. Without this incredible charity, I simply wouldn’t be here today. To know that over £52,000 has been raised is absolutely amazing - it’s not just money, it’s lifesaving support for future patients like me.”
