Daniel Gale promoted to National Auctions Director as First for Auctions continues nationwide growth

The promotion follows a period of sustained growth for First for Auctions. The business held its largest auction on record in October 2025, with a catalogue of 70 lots, while sales during August and September exceeded £19 million and achieved an 82% success rate.

First for Auctions has also expanded its partnership model, which enables independent estate agents to provide a fully managed auction service under their own brand. Recent partner sales have demonstrated the range of properties and circumstances for which auction can deliver a strong result, from a three-bedroom house in Tidworth that sold 83% above guide price to a seven-bedroom period home in Wimbledon Village that achieved £3.552 million, more than £1 million above its guide.

Daniel began his property career in 2005 and joined Romans, now part of LRG, in 2007. He moved into the Auctions and Commercial team in 2010 before being appointed Head of Auctions in 2022, when the group brought its existing auction services together under the First for Auctions brand. Since then, he has led its transition into a nationwide online auction business, played a central role in developing its partner network and, in July, graduated with a BSc in Real Estate Management.
