Douglas & Gordon Rebrand Block Management Business

Douglas & Gordon are re-branding their block management business as, “D&G Block Management” following a strategic review.  Positioned within a large estate agency, clients may not perceive block management as a core activity and believe that “specialist” block management companies with more technical skill sets are better positioned to meet their requirements.

Therefore, to ensure the continued growth and quality of service of the Douglas & Gordon block management business, D&G Block Management has been formed and will remain a wholly owned subsidiary of Douglas & Gordon.   Douglas & Gordon Chairman Michael Hodgson will become Chairman of the new entity, and existing Head of Department Calum Watson will be made Managing Director. Calum Watson commented, ‘The Group has made considerable investment in the Block Management department in recent years to retain our position at the top end of the Central London market. The rebranding will ensure that we can continue to grow the business by providing high quality personnel in a defined team structure and satisfying client expectations, whilst retaining the benefits that come from the association of a larger parent group.’
