Doyenne is delighted to announce three new appointments to its growing leadership team, marking an exciting new chapter as the organisation continues to expand its presence and impact across the property sector.
Joining the team are Adela Nemes as Communications Lead, Loyda Winning MTPI AssocRICS as Operations Lead and Shannon Baxter as London Ambassador — three accomplished professionals who each bring extensive experience, fresh perspective, and a shared passion for championing women across the industry.
These appointments reflect Doyenne’s ongoing commitment to creating a strong, supportive and influential network for women working throughout the property profession.
Doyenne is also pleased to announce the appointment of Adela Nemes as Communications Lead.
In this role, Adela will be responsible for shaping and elevating the organisation’s voice, visibility and communications strategy as Doyenne continues to strengthen its growing community.
Bringing experience in marketing, storytelling and strategic communications, Adela will play a central role in how Doyenne connects with its audience and supports purposeful conversations across the industry.
Adela said:
“As a Marketing Executive, I bring a people-first approach to brand, storytelling, and strategic marketing. My work spans campaign development, content creation, and audience-led strategy, always with a focus on building meaningful connections.
“My personal and professional journey has been shaped by the privilege of being surrounded by strong, independent women, from managers and colleagues to clients and mentors, whose guidance, resilience, and generosity have played a defining role in my growth.
“I am also a strong, independent woman because I was raised by one. From an early age, I learned the importance of confidence, self-belief, and lifting others as you climb.
“I am proudly a woman’s woman, and I believe deeply in the power of women supporting other women: reaching down, opening doors, and lifting each other up.
“At Doyenne, I am passionate about amplifying women’s voices, supporting purposeful businesses, and contributing to a culture where collaboration, encouragement, and shared success are part of everyday life.”
Joining the leadership team as Operations Lead is Loyda Winning MTPI AssocRICS.
Loyda currently serves as Head of Operations at BPM, where she oversees operational structure, governance and compliance across the business. With more than 15 years’ experience in property management and operational leadership, she brings a wealth of expertise in process standardisation, compliance auditing and portfolio management.
Her appointment will support Doyenne’s continued growth and operational development as the organisation expands its reach and activities.
Loyda said:
“My passion for supporting Doyenne in Property stems from a deep interest in strengthening female leadership within the leasehold sector.
“Having advanced through various property manager, operational, and senior roles in a field where women are often under-represented at leadership level, I value the power of visible role models, shared experience, and peer support.
“I’m excited to be involved with Doyenne both as a contributor and participant; supporting its mission to foster confidence, collaboration, and professional progression for women across the property profession.”
Doyenne is thrilled to welcome Shannon Baxter as its new London Ambassador.
Having supported Doyenne since its inception nearly 10 years ago, Shannon’s appointment marks a significant and meaningful milestone for the organisation as it prepares to expand its London presence and launch new events later this year.
With a career rooted in both housing and property recruitment, Shannon brings a people-first approach alongside an extensive network across the residential property sector.
Speaking about her appointment, Shannon said:
“My first role in property was working in housing for the homeless at the age of 18, managing properties and supporting some of the most vulnerable residents in London. It was tough, fast-paced work, often emotionally demanding, but it gave me a real grounding in what ‘home’ means, and the responsibility the property industry carries in shaping people’s lives.
“From there, I moved into the block management world as a New Business Assistant, working alongside Samantha Massey FRICS FTPI and a small team of industry leaders who were building something special at the time. That role was a real turning point for me – it showed me the energy, ambition, and pace of the industry behind the scenes, and sparked my long-term career in property recruitment and client partnerships.
“Since then, I’ve built my career around people. For the past eight years, I’ve been connecting onsite talent with some of the leading managing agents, developers, and residential teams across London and the UK.
“I’m incredibly proud to be joining Doyenne as London Ambassador. For me, this feels personal. It’s about championing women in an industry I’ve essentially grown up in, and creating more space for visibility, connection, and honest conversation across all levels of property.
“London has always been at the centre of my work and my network, and I’m excited to help grow a community here that feels open, supportive, and genuinely influential in shaping the future of the sector.”
These appointments represent an important step forward for Doyenne as it continues to build a vibrant and influential platform for women across the property sector.
With new initiatives, events and collaborations planned throughout 2026, the organisation says it is excited for what lies ahead and proud to welcome Shannon, Adela and Loyda to the team.
