Property management organisation, ELM Group, is pleased to announce the introduction of a new apprenticeship role within its Head Office Customer Services Team, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to creating meaningful development opportunities and supporting career progression across the organisation.
The newly established Apprentice Progression & Technical Assistant position has been designed to provide a strong entry point into the property and leasehold sector, while enabling individuals to build essential skills within a professional and supportive environment. Working alongside experienced colleagues, the apprentice will contribute to key processes such as re-sales, lease extensions and technical enquiries, helping to maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance and service across the independent living communities and developments managed by ELM Group.
Kathy Denhayi, who has recently started in her new role, commented: “Starting my career with ELM Group has been an exciting opportunity. The apprenticeship gives me the chance to gain hands-on experience, develop new skills and work towards a professional qualification, while being supported by a knowledgeable and encouraging team. I’m looking forward to growing in the role, learning more about the industry and making a positive contribution to the organisation and the communities it serves.”
The role forms part of a wider focus on nurturing talent from within, with a structured training programme that combines practical, day-to-day experience with formal learning. Kathy will be supported in working towards a Level 3 TPI qualification, with dedicated time and resources allocated to study, coursework and examinations. This balanced approach ensures the development of both technical expertise and confidence in a professional setting.
This apprenticeship has been developed by employers and specialist Awarding Bodies, to ensure that employees that work within these job roles develop all the skills, knowledge and behaviours they need.
Lorraine Collis, Chief Executive at ELM Group, added: “The introduction of this role reflects our strong commitment as a company to fostering growth, progression, and long-term career pathways. As a not-for-profit organisation, investing in people and creating opportunities to build expertise internally are central to our values and future direction. We look forward to supporting Kathy as she begins her career journey with us.
ELM Group manages retirement communities across the South of England. Having built on its enviable reputation in the independent retirement living sector and undergone significant expansion in recent years, ELM Group is proud to be a leading leasehold property management company.
