● Burren Asset Management offers a total property management solution to prime residential developers and freeholders
● The specialist brand, focuses on large and complex schemes in London and across major UK cities, as part of the property arm of Fexco, the Irish multinational founded in 1981 which manages 380,000 residential homes from Britain to Australia

Fexco Property Services, part of the multinational Fexco Group, has launched Burren Asset Management, a dedicated property management service for the owners and developers of prime residential developments in the UK.

Burren’s expert team will focus on ‘large and complex’ schemes, in particular high rise, mixed-use, and new build properties in city locations. Fexco Group operates in more than 50 markets globally and was founded in Ireland in 1981.

Fexco Property Services, together with its Australian sister company PICA now manage more than 380,000 residential units worldwide.
Burren Asset Management will draw on the Fexco Group’s global expertise to provide a bespoke property management solution to both freeholders and developers of premium residential schemes – combining the scale of a major operator with the precision, agility and
personal touch of a sector specialist.

Burren Asset Management further enhances the broad offer of specialist property management services. With 7 brands in the group that each have their own area of expertise and operation within the market and geographically. From large estates with requirements
to deliver Biodiversity Net Gain obligations through to super prime mansion blocks, and everything within the spectrum, Fexco Property Services have a brand to deliver.

They believe that this segmentation of these asset classes is now imperative as the role of the Property Manager becomes ever more complex and broad. With the addition of far reaching legislation and ever increasing customer expectations all set against the backdrop
of a shallow talent pool of experienced and qualified people in the sector – a one size fit approach is no longer suitable.

Burren will be headed by UK property industry veteran Alex Elsy, whose 25-year career spans senior positions in both the private and not-for-profit sectors. Alex has led multi-million-pound housing initiatives and built asset teams across the UK, He has a track record
of delivering results in complex environments.

Alex Elsy, Director at Fexco Property Services, commented: “Burren was created to offer clients a true partnership model – one that starts pre-construction and continues seamlessly into long term asset management.

“Our focus is on delivering bespoke solutions for large and complex schemes, where the quality of day-to-day management has a direct impact on community cohesion and asset performance.”

Burren’s focus will be on amenity rich and complex developments, especially mixed-use sites that incorporate residential, leisure, and commercial components. It will work with developers from the planning stage onwards – enabling robust management strategies to be
built into the DNA of each building – as well as the institutional owners of existing residential assets.

We are already seeing strong interest in this new brand from new clients as well as Property Managers keen to work in this specialist area and who understand the unique nature of such a role – low volume but complex portfolios that are both challenging and rewarding.
“The creation of Burren reflects our belief that Property Management must evolve to serve the increased complexity and ambition of modern developments, with an agile, bespoke approach rather than a one size fits all service” said Niall McGann, CEO of Fexco Property
Services.

“There is an unmet need in the market for expert property management support precisely tailored to prime residential schemes, and this is the gap that Burren was born to fill.

Burren’s specialist team will work with care and precision to bring the best out of each and every property they manage, backed by Fexco’s proven operational strength.”
