Home Group Awards £3m Passive Fire Safety Contract to Trail Group

 Trail Group was appointed as a supply chain partner to Home Group in 2021 and has already worked on over 100 of its properties – residential apartment buildings, street properties and community wellbeing homes – in Norfolk, London and the Home Counties, and across the South Coast, from Hampshire to Devon and Cornwall.

 Trail Group’s first projects under the new contract will be for two residential buildings in Portsmouth to provide roof compartmentation work and fire door replacements.

 Recently delivered passive fire safety projects include:

• Olympic Way, High Wycombe – fire doors, fire stopping and fire compartmentation across three apartment buildings. In the largest building, Trail Group also replaced all automated smoke vents.

• Deck Place in Colchester – All fire doors for two apartment blocks were renewed.

• Court Place in Folkestone – the communal doors and the entrance doors to over 50 flats for over 55s were replaced and full fire compartmentation was installed throughout including in the loft area.
