It is with great sadness that we remember Nicola Fagan, who passed away in October, aged 52, after a long illness.
Nicola was Head of KWB Residential, a role she had held since joining the business in 2018. Over her seven years with the firm, she made a transformative contribution to Birmingham's property management community, growing the residential management arm of KWB to four times its original size and setting new standards in client service.
Prior to joining KWB, Nicola built a respected career in residential property management with Centrick, GBR Phoenix Beard and Scanlans Property Management. At KWB, she brought her vast experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to the role, quickly becoming a driving force behind the success of the residential management team.
Nicola oversaw many of Birmingham's most high-profile residential developments, including South Central, The Bank and Queens College Chambers. She was acclaimed by clients for her professionalism, attention to detail and for being supportive of their aims.
Beyond her expertise, Nicola was admired for her energy, warmth and generosity of spirit - qualities that made her a much-loved colleague and a highly respected figure in the Birmingham property community. She made a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege to work with her.
John Bryce, Director at KWB, said: "Everyone at KWB is devastated by Nicola's passing. She was not only an outstanding professional, but also a wonderful person who gave so much to everyone she worked with. Since joining us in 2018, she brought incredible drive, experience and passion to KWB Residential, helping to shape and grow the business into what it is today. Above all, she was a kind, thoughtful and supportive friend to so many of us."
Her responsibilities will be taken forward by Jason Osborn and Rohan Khosla, who worked closely alongside her for many years and will continue to uphold the standards and values she instilled within the team.
Nicola will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Everyone at News on the Block sends our condolences to Nicola's family, friends and colleagues. Her contribution to our industry reminds us how many dedicated people make this sector special.
