JLT Specialty Limited, (JLT) has announced that Penny Jepson will be joining to manage JLT’s new Residential Real Estate offering. JLT is one of the leading players within the UK commercial real estate sector. Nigel Todd, Head of the Real Estate Practice at JLT said: “Penny is recognised as one of the leading players in the Residential Real Estate Insurance market and we are delighted to welcome her on board. By launching a specific UK Residential Real Estate Practice, JLT can focus our product offering to such a specific and key part of the Real Estate sector, enhancing and improving upon the current level of services available.
“Whilst the UK residential property market remains challenging in many areas, there is clearly a great opportunity and demand for a specialist team servicing the UK market that can combine the experience from commercial insurance policies as well as the ability to leverage pricing”
Penny has extensive industry experience and was most recently Head of Business at Deacon. The new team will be made up from 3 people from the London Real Estate Division combined with a number of new hires and will be based in Bournemouth with a focus on residential management companies and managing agents throughout the UK.
