JMJ Asset Management is proud to announce that its Manging Director Jodie Fraser, has been shortlisted in two categories at the 2026 ACE Awards, hosted by The Property Institute.
Jodie has been named a finalist for both the Wellbeing Champion Award (Individual) and the Legendary Leadership Award, recognising her contribution to the property management sector and her ongoing work to improve both professional standards and personal wellbeing across the industry.
The ACE Awards are one of the most respected events in the residential property management calendar, bringing together professionals from across the UK to celebrate excellence, innovation, and leadership. The 2026 ceremony will take place on 19 June at Old Billingsgate in London.
Putting people back at the centre of property management
Jodie Fraser has built her reputation on a simple belief: good property management is about people first, buildings second.
Through her leadership at JMJ Asset Management and her podcast Beyond Four Walls, she has consistently spoken about the realities of working in the sector, from burnout and lone working to handling difficult situations and supporting residents through challenging circumstances.
Her nomination for the Wellbeing Champion Award reflects her commitment to creating safer, more supportive environments for those working within the industry, as well as improving how managing agents communicate with and support residents.
Her recognition in the Legendary Leadership category highlights her approach to leadership, one that focuses on clarity, accountability, and doing the right thing, even when it is not the easiest option.
A moment of recognition, but also responsibility
Speaking about the shortlist, Jodie Fraser said:
“This industry can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be incredibly tough.
Being shortlisted for both wellbeing and leadership feels very personal, because they are so closely linked.
You cannot lead people properly if you do not understand what they are dealing with day to day, and you cannot look after residents if your teams are burnt out.
This recognition isn’t just about me. It reflects the conversations we are starting to have as an industry, and the people who are pushing for things to be done better.”
Reflecting JMJ’s approach
At JMJ Asset Management, this recognition mirrors the company’s wider approach to block and estate management.
Built on the principle of “The JMJ Commitment”, the business focuses on clear communication, strong professional standards, and a collaborative approach with resident directors and leaseholders.
The team continues to advocate for a more balanced, transparent, and human approach to managing residential buildings, where compliance and care go hand in hand.
Winners will be announced at the ACE Awards ceremony in June, alongside some of the most respected professionals and organisations in the sector.
Regardless of the outcome, JMJ Asset Management sees this shortlist as an important moment to reflect on how the industry continues to evolve, and the role it plays in shaping better experiences for both residents and property professionals.
