The Annual Conference of the Leasehold Advisory Service will take place on 21st May 2013. This year the event takes on a new, exciting format and aims to cater specifically for the range of professional interests across the leasehold sector, including lawyers, property managers and valuers. There will be several high profile keynote presentations including one from Keith Hill, Independent Regulator for the Association of Residential Managing Agents' (ARMA) new consumer-focused self-regulatory regime, ‘ARMA-Q’.
To chair the conference, LEASE are delighted to welcome back Damian Greenish, Chairman of Pemberton Greenish LLP. There will also be presentations from Philip Rainey QC of Tanfield Chambers, James Wilson of W.A. Ellis, Professor James Driscoll, and valuer Andrew Pridell amongst others to be announced.
Anthony Essien, Chief Executive of LEASE, said: "Our intention in planning this year’s conference is to address the issues and challenges across our sector with speakers and delegates reflecting its breadth. Those differences in the professions that make up the sector offer a richness of perspective and approaches to the subject; and we hope that our time examining the issues and practices in managing, valuing, and selling leasehold, in a complex and ever changing environment, will lead to knowledge building and the development of best practice."
