Crabtree Law announced the launch of Leaseology on Thursday 30th October– an independent guidance website with the overarching objective to clear up many of the common misunderstandings about owning a leasehold property or a freehold interest anywhere in the UK.
Leaseology is the study of leases and leasehold property law including the approach to the legislation, case-law and legal procedures. Examples include extending a lease, obtaining management of a leasehold block and purchasing freehold interests.
Leaseology provides advice and guidance on:
· Lease Extensions
· Leasehold Enfranchisement
· The Right to Manage
· The Right of First Refusal
Daniel Tang, Partner at Crabtree Law, said “I am proud to announce the launch of Leaseology: Crabtree Law’s new guidance website. The site has been a few months in the making and I feel it offers unique and comprehensive guidance that addresses what are commonly regarded to be some of the most important yet complex and misunderstood areas of residential property law. The challenge I set myself in this project was to produce a platform that provides easy access to information that is delivered with an impartial academic approach. I believe the website achieves this. As the law continues to develop it is my aim and belief that the website will continue to grow and evolve along with it. I hope that members of the public and property professionals alike will appreciate the fine balance between its user-friendly nature and offering of substantive and valuable information.”
Leaseology ultimately provides comprehensive and easy to understand guidance on residential property law to both Landlords and Tenants alike.
