Lomond, one of the UK’s leading lettings and estate agency networks, has today announced the appointment of Neil McGimpsey as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for Lomond's Southern Region. He will lead the growth and performance across Lomond’s portfolio of brands in the region, including Charters, Miles & Barr, Prospect and Ocean.
McGimpsey succeeds Rob Mott, who founded Charters and is stepping down after 18 years building the business into the leading brand it is today.
McGimpsey has served as Lomond’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) since joining the Group in December 2025, where he led the Group through legislative changes brought about by the Renters’ Rights Act. He previously spent 15 years in a variety of senior leadership roles at Foxtons, and was CEO at Druce & Co.
This appointment comes as Lomond continues to strengthen its regional leadership structure and invest in long term growth across its network of leading regional agencies, which now totals 14 brands across England and Scotland.
Paul Geddes, CEO of Lomond, said: “Neil’s proven track record, commercial expertise and deep understanding of the industry make him ideally placed to lead Lomond’s southern region into its next chapter. We are looking forward to seeing him excel in this new position.
“We would also like to thank Rob for his invaluable contributions over the years. He founded Charters with an unwavering commitment to exceptional service, innovation and people. His vision, entrepreneurial spirit and leadership have shaped the business into the South's most respected estate agency brand, with a reputation for doing things differently and doing them well.”
Neil McGimpsey, Chief Revenue Officer, Lomond’s Southern Region said: “It’s an honour to be entrusted with leading Lomond’s southern region into its next chapter. Rob leaves behind an exceptional legacy, strong brand and an industry-leading team.
"The opportunities ahead make this an incredibly exciting time, and I look forward to working with colleagues across the business to continue building on the success already achieved in Lomond’s southern region.”
Rob Mott, added:
"I'm hugely proud of everything we've achieved at Charters and grateful to the incredible people who have been part of that journey. Thank you to everyone across Charters and Lomond for your support. I'm confident the business will continue to go from strength to strength under Paul’s leadership, and in Neil the region has an excellent new leader."
