Lomond, one of the UK's leading lettings and estate agency networks, today welcomes Paul Geddes in his role as Group Chief Executive Officer, marking the beginning of the company's next phase of growth and development.

Paul Geddes joins Lomond following a distinguished executive career spanning financial services, insurance, and wealth management, most recently serving as CEO of Evelyn Partners, where he led the business through its £2.7bn sale to NatWest Group. He also previously served as CEO of Direct Line Insurance Group and CEO of RBS's UK Retail Banking division, now part of NatWest Group.

He takes over a business that has experienced significant growth over recent years. Since 2022, Lomond has more than doubled its portfolio, establishing itself as one of the UK's leading networks within the lettings and estate agency sector. The business has expanded from approximately 34,000 to more than 70,000 properties under management and completed around 70 acquisitions to date. Earlier this year, Lomond announced its expansion into two new regions with the acquisitions of Homesure in Liverpool and Prospect in the Thames Valley region.

Over the coming months, Paul Geddes will focus on meeting teams across the country, engaging with the Group's regional brands and clients, while helping shape the next stage of Lomond's long-term growth strategy. This will include building on Lomond's strong market position through continued operational excellence, organic growth initiatives and investment in technology and AI-enabled capabilities, at a time when the UK property industry is undergoing once-in-a-generation regulatory and technological change, reshaping how people buy, sell, rent and manage homes.

Paul Geddes, Group CEO of Lomond, said: "Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Lomond. Since announcing my appointment, I have spent time learning more about the business and have been hugely impressed by the quality of our people, the strength of our regional brands and the scale of the opportunity ahead.

"Lomond has built something distinctive within the UK property sector: strong local brands with the scale of a national group behind them. We operate in a market that continues to evolve, with customers expecting higher levels of service, greater convenience and more innovative solutions. Our ambition is to be the most recommended property group in the UK, raising standards across the industry while helping our regional businesses grow and thrive.

"My immediate focus is on supporting, learning and working with colleagues across the company to understand what makes each business successful. From that foundation, we will strengthen our position in the market and keep improving what we deliver for landlords, tenants, buyers and sellers."

Kate Swann, Chair of Lomond, said: "We are delighted to officially welcome Paul to Lomond. His track record of leading large, customer-focused organisations through periods of growth and transformation speaks for itself.

"Lomond has achieved a tremendous amount over recent years and we are confident that Paul will build on that success. We are excited about what the next chapter will bring for our people, our customers and our partners."
