Orla Living has appointed Louise Cant as head of marketing for its European living sector management platform, in this newly created role, as it continues to build its senior team. With over 30 years’ experience in marketing under her belt, Louise will spearhead Orla Living’s brand awareness and integrated marketing strategy to drive conversions for properties under management as well as supporting business growth and resident engagement.
Louise brings over a decade of Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and co-living experience to the newly created role, in which she will focus on strengthening brand awareness and driving conversions across the expanding European portfolio. She will also oversee the creation of integrated marketing campaigns across all channels such as to support business growth and resident engagement.
Orla Living, part of Homes for Students group, was launched earlier in 2025 under the direction of co-CEO Martin Corbett and has a pipeline of PBSA, flex-living and later living management mandates across Europe with its flexible and no-frills approach.
Louise’s impressive track record includes launching and mobilising new developments and acquisitions across the UK and Europe, establishing a strong market presence in both mature and emerging locations, which stands her in good stead for the role. Her property experience also includes investment management, development, operations, commercial strategy, systems, and finance.
Joe Stanley, Orla’s European Integration Director commented on Louise’s appointment: “Louise has a strong reputation for shaping brand strategies and boosting customer engagement gained throughout her career, so I am confident that she will deliver high-impact marketing initiatives that drive occupancy, enhance brand visibility, and create meaningful customer connections – which is crucial for us here at Orla Living. I’m excited to have her onboard!”
Speaking about her appointment, Louise said: "I’m proud to be joining Orla Living at such a pivotal moment. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to help shape a brand with bold ambitions - one built around community, quality, and creating meaningful living experiences. I’m looking forward to bringing my experience in co-living, flex-living and PBSA to help drive growth, raise brand awareness, and deliver real value to our residents and stakeholders as we expand across Europe."
