The UK’s largest property management firm, Peverel Group is rebranding as KnightSquare. As part of the changes, its operating property management companies are being brought together under one brand, to be known as FirstPort.
Janet Entwistle, CEO of Peverel, said: “Bringing all ten property services brands together as FirstPort is a new chapter for the business. By uniting our businesses under one new brand, our customers will find it far easier to deal with us.
“As a result of the hard work and commitment of people at Peverel over the last two years, we are now a very different business, which is reflected in our new brand. We are looking after more than just bricks and mortar – we want to be the people everyone turns to first to look after their home and community.”
FirstPort will manage more than 100,000 general residential properties and more than 60,000 retirement properties, and will also have an insurance services business, a lettings business and a specialist retirement estate agency. The property services businesses being brought under the FirstPort brand are: Peverel Retirement, Peverel Scotland, Peverel Property Management, OM Property Management, Consort Property Management, Stonedale Property Management, Pembertons Property Management, Kingsborough Insurance Services, Insero and Marlborough House Management. Retirement Homesearch will keep its name but be refreshed in line with the FirstPort family.
Joining FirstPort under the Knight Square umbrella are the building technologies businesses Appello Telehealth, CarelineUK and Cirrus Communication Systems.
Chairman of Peverel, Paul Lester CBE added: “This is an important step, which recognises the transformation of the business and our confidence in its future. Through our continued investment in the right people, systems and processes, and putting the customer at the heart of what we do, a single identity for our property businesses is the next logical step forward.”
