A David Wilson Homes site team in Northamptonshire dressed to impress as part of Breast Cancer Now’s Wear It Pink event on Friday 24th October.

The site team at the Harlestone Grange development on York Way joined the Wear It Pink fundraiser, trading in their usual gear for cheerful pink hats and high-visibility jackets, fully embracing the theme and showing their support.

Changing lives for over 50 years, Breast Cancer Now funds life-saving research and provides vital support for those affected by breast cancer. Now in it’s 23rd year, the Wear It Pink fundraising event sees workplaces, schools, and communities across the UK don all shades of pink to show their commitment and support to breast cancer awareness.

Over 23 years, Wear It Pink has raised more than £43 million. The funds raised go towards ensuring the 55,000 people diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK each year are well supported.

Ben Kalus, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes South Midlands, said: “As a leading national housebuilder, we aim to create supportive and thriving communities, so it is essential for us to support important charities.

“The team had a brilliant day wearing pink PPE to raise awareness and funds. We are proud to be able to support the necessary and impactful work of Breast Cancer Now.”

With their bright display of pink PPE around Harlestone Grange, the team at David Wilson Homes South Midlands have raised spirits as well as £200 which will be donated directly to Breast Cancer Now.
