Plans for UK’s tallest residential block submitted

The development, designed by Foster + Partners, would feature more than 900 new homes and about 20,000sq.ft. of retail space across two landmark buildings: one of 73 storeys, the other 36 storeys. There would also be a pocket park, riverside walkway, and a children’s playspace for community use.

If planning permission is secured later this year, construction would likely start in January 2015.
