In Place of Strife, a leading mediation service provider, has rebranded as
IPOS Mediation. The award-winning dispute resolution chambers, with offices in London and Dublin, has changed its name as part of a new strategy to strengthen the company’s mission and modernise the business.
By rebranding,
IPOS Mediation aims to ensure that the company’s services are communicated clearly to a wider audience, and that their industry-leading expertise is recognised across all sectors.
Mark Jackson-Stops, Head of Chambers, said: “We’re really excited about the rebranding of the business and hope it will make it easier for clients to align our mission with our mediation services.
Our team has been working hard on the new strategy and modernisation of our services, and we’re looking forward to seeing how the changes help us continue to grow in the legal sector.”
An internal strategy team made the key decision to change the business from In Place of Strife – a name which played upon Barbara Castle’s famous 1969 white paper to reform Britain’s trade unions and wider industries, examining the collective bargaining system between trade unions and workers.
Henrietta Jackson-Stops, Partner, said: “We decided on the name IPOS Mediation because it allows us to place our core service offering at the heart of our identity, ensuring our audience are aligned with our key values and commitment. We have also introduced a tagline – “Mediation, Facilitation, Negotiation” as our mediators’ skills are frequently put to use outside the litigation context.
Changing our name to IPOS Mediation will allow us to reach a new audience, and make a wider host of businesses aware of what we offer and how our services can help them.”
