With Covid-19 putting a strain on businesses and changing lives, it’s important to celebrate the wins and focus on all the positives during this time. With the recruitment industry being easily affected by events of any kind, TemplePM are thankful to be working in a sector that still needs roles filled and by our brilliant candidates!
Christian is one of our candidates that started his job search during the UK lockdown and below explains how it has all worked for him.
I started my job search on 9th April, during the lockdown period. The process wasn’t too different to normal apart from all interviews being conducted via telephone and video conferencing.
Steve Grimsley MD, was very supportive through the process with frequent contact and responses, even out of hours. The whole process was fairly straightforward with Steve conducting negotiations in a transparent and professional manner.
In my new role, there have been logistical challenges that needed overcoming in order to maintain high service levels due to the lockdown, although current restrictions are easing and normal operations are now slowly resuming. Throughout my career I have worked remotely although I have had to adapt to doing so for a longer duration without access to office resources.
