SO Resi Partnerships wins coveted First Time Buyer Readers' award

The national agency beat strong competition from some of the industry’s biggest names to be crowned winner in the ‘Best Provider to the First Time Buyer Market’ category, in front of a record audience of more than 500 people at the Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square.

The award recognised SO Resi Partnerships’ pioneering work to increase access to more affordable routes to homeownership, and to date has seen huge success, working with several key partners including local authority providers and housing associations. The team has assisted with the sales of hundreds of shared ownership homes across London and the South East, with many schemes selling out off plan.

SO Resi Partnerships’ parent company MTVH also impressed First Time Buyer judges and was awarded a Highly Commended accolade in the Affordable Housing Provider of the Year category.

Now in their 15^th year, the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards, sponsored by land agency Walter Cooper, celebrate the companies and individuals that have gone above and beyond to help first time buyers get a foot onto the property ladder. Leading members of the property industry attended the event presented by television duo Jonnie Irwin (the face of A Place in the Sun and Escape to the Country) and Nicki Chapman (best known for Escape to the Country), which recognises the best of the best in the property industry.

The shortlist for the First Time Buyers Readers’ Awards was compiled by an expert panel of judges with shortlisted entries subject to a round of voting by readers of First Time Buyer Magazine before the winners were selected.
