Supa, the first AI-native platform in UK block management, today announced it has raised £21m ($28m) in seed funding. The round includes equity funding co-led by 2150 and OpenOcean, with KOMPAS VC, Actia Capital Partners, and HEARTFELT, and a debt facility from a major UK lender. Since its first two acquisitions in late 2025, Supa's revenue has grown more than 700%.
The average service charge in England and Wales reached £2,405 in 2025, passing £200 a month for the first time and up by a third in five years. Yet most residents could not say what their service charge pays for, and many struggle to get a call answered.
Despite the UK's property management sector being worth £37 billion, and software has been sold into the sector for years, technology has never taken hold. A decade of industry consolidation hasn’t helped either, producing bigger portfolios without moving residents forward. The small firms managing flats, often with fewer than ten staff, are now running out of administrative capacity. Property managers report record workload pressure, according to The Property Institute, and the Prime Minister’s ambition to improve service for leaseholders through new leasehold reforms is set to add more work.
Supa is rebuilding block management by acquiring established local block management firms, keeping their identity, and rebuilding their operational layer with Supa’s proprietary AI operating technology infrastructure. The software takes on the paperwork that slows agents down, such as scheduling repairs, reconciling service charges, keeping safety checks up to date, and chasing contractors.
That frees property managers to spend up to 90% less time on admin, so they can be out in the buildings and answer residents the same day.
This AI roll-up model enables Supa to outpace traditional consolidation and achieve the rapid scaling required to transform the industry at a pivotal moment. Around 20,000 homes are already under Supa management and experiencing service outcome improvements. Every acquisition strengthens Supa’s AI operating system too, ensuring existing residents benefit from continuously improving service long after the deal is done.
Recent additions to Supa’s portfolio of seven local managing agents include Hunters in Sussex, FW Block Management in Hertfordshire, and Lamberts in London.
Calum Brannan, Supa co-founder and CEO, said: "Residents are paying more every year and too often getting less. Bloated portfolios and ageing systems leave residents with their calls going to voicemail. We're doing the opposite. We keep the local firms, take the admin off their desks, and put managers back inside buildings instead of behind a phone queue. Everyone should know what their service charge pays for, and get an answer when they call."
Finella Taylor, CEO of FW Block Management, said: "It was very important to me to preserve the legacy of our company. Supa understood that. They weren't looking to rebrand us, they wanted to keep our identity, which is why I'd recommend them to any managing agent looking to sell."
Calum Brannan and Chief Product and Technology Officer Alexis Johnson previously built Howsy, the UK's largest digital property manager, and sold it to Dexters in 2022. They are joined by founding engineer Gaspard Perrot, formerly of Signal AI, and chairman Mark Opzoomer (Yahoo, Trint, Somo).
Rahul Parekh, Partner, 2150: “Property management operates with tools that feel decades overdue, and Calum and Alexis saw the opportunity to change that completely. Their vision for Supa is to become the intelligence layer for how buildings are run, starting with scaling their block management platform. We believe Supa can redefine what great property management looks like, and we’re excited to back them on that journey.”
Sam Hields, Partner at OpenOcean, said: "Supa is one of the clearest examples of AI improving a real-world service at scale. Calum and Alexis are bringing together the technology, the data and the businesses needed to make it work, and we're delighted to back them."
Sebastian Peck, Founding Partner at KOMPAS VC, said: “When a block is well-managed, it operates quietly in the background; when it’s poorly managed, it can negatively impact residents' finances, safety, and daily quality of life. Supa is harnessing the power of agentic AI and economies of scale to lift industry standards, improving communication, responsiveness, and quality of service delivery. We are very proud to back the founders and their extraordinary team as they build a category-leading property management business with global ambitions.”
