The Royal Borough of Greenwich – home to Plumstead, North Greenwich and Kidbrooke – is continuing to establish itself as one of London's most exciting cultural destinations, with a growing programme of arts, music and community events transforming the area into a vibrant hub for residents and visitors alike.

At the heart of this cultural renaissance is Woolwich Works, London's award-winning creative district, which has quickly become one of the capital's leading venues for live performance, festivals and community engagement. This summer on Saturday 5th September, its popular Brassworks festival will once again bring together brass bands, street performances and family-friendly entertainment, celebrating the borough's rich heritage while showcasing contemporary talent.

Supporting this year's event is L&Q which has three new developments within Greenwich, offering a wide range of homes through Private Sale, Shared Ownership and London Living Rent. Through the sponsorship of Brassworks 2026, L&Q is helping to ensure world-class cultural events remain accessible to local communities, while reinforcing the area's growing reputation as one of South East London's most dynamic places to live.

Claire Brenlund, Sales & Marketing Director at L&Q, comments: "Great places are about far more than homes - they're about the communities and experiences that surround them. We're proud to support Brassworks 2026 at Woolwich Works, an event that celebrates creativity, brings people together and showcases everything that makes Greenwich such an exciting place to live.

“We have a range of homes within the borough, catering to a broad range of budgets and lifestyles. Whether you’re ready to purchase outright with a Private Sale apartment, or are looking for a helping hand to step onto the ladder through the government’s Shared Ownership or London Living Rent schemes, our team can help you find the perfect home."

Just a stone’s throw from Woolwich Works is Rockcliffe Square, offering a collection of high-quality new studio, one two and three bedroom apartments in Plumstead. Residents benefit from private balconies and terraces and a landscaped podium garden just outside the front door – alongside an on-site concierge for added convenience. In addition to this, the development is close to excellent transport connections, including the Elizabeth line from Woolwich station, and boasts easy access to this rapidly growing East London cultural hub.

On Greenwich Peninsula, Prime Point offers a collection of Manhattan studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments at the heart of one of London's most exciting cultural destinations. Overlooking Central Park, the development places residents moments from a thriving mix of art, music, dining and entertainment, with every home benefiting from private outdoor space and many enjoying sweeping views – perfect for taking it all in.

Also within the borough, L&Q at Kidbrooke Village offers a collection of homes designed for modern living. Centred around Pegler Square, the development features essential amenities including a Sainsbury’s Local, Starbucks, pharmacy, GP surgery and regular farmers’ markets, all within a vibrant masterplan of 4,800 homes. Alongside excellent transport links to London Bridge residents can easily enjoy the area's thriving cultural scene while benefiting from a well-connected neighbourhood.

Alongside iconic landmarks such as the Old Royal Naval College and the National Maritime Museum, newer venues like Woolwich Works have helped establish Greenwich as a thriving cultural destination. From live music and theatre to festivals, exhibitions and community events, residents can benefit from a packed calendar of experiences just a short walk or journey from home.
