Livingcity Building Consultants, a bespoke residential chartered surveying practice, has formally joined Livingcity CCIM Ltd, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of both businesses and strengthening Livingcity CCIM’s ability to provide a fully integrated property advisory and compliance services across the UK.

The move brings together two corresponding specialisms, with Lc Building Consultants’ chartered building surveying expertise sitting alongside CCIM’s established building and fire safety compliance, consultancy and investment management services. This creates a broader and more agile offering for property owners, operators, investors, developers and professional advisors.

Experienced Leadership in Building Surveying

The Livingcity Building Consultants team is headed up by Robert Barnes, Director of Building Surveying. Robert is an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor with over 25 years’ experience across the construction industry, having worked extensively within both the public and private sectors. His leadership brings deep technical knowledge and practical insight, further strengthening Livingcity CCIM’s surveying and advisory capability.

With regulatory expectations increasing in the sector, particularly in relation to building safety, accountability and compliance under the Building Safety Act (2022), the partnership is pivotal as these obligations become more complex.  Clients are seeking advice that needs to be technically robust, reliable and practical, something that CCIM provides.

Livingcity CCIM has built a strong reputation for guiding clients through statutory duties, delivering compliance audits and regulatory assurance to support informed decision making and asset protection.
