One of the Midlands’ leading estate management companies has moved into larger offices in a year that has seen staff numbers increase by 20%.
But the directors and employees of MetroPM won’t have to travel any further to work – their new offices are in the same building.
MetroPM has moved downstairs within St Marys House, Harborne Park Road, in Harborne, Birmingham, where the company has been for 12 years.
The company has taken the larger, purpose-built, open ground floor office space after another strong year of sustained growth.
Established by managing director Matthew Arnold in 2006, MetroPM is a leading property management company with clients across the UK.
This year has seen new staff joining, including property administrator Anna Ayres, property manager Jean Brown, property co-ordinator Serena Ofeke, and customer service and compliance manager Elouise Hinton.
MetroPM director Ian Smallman said: “We have been based in Harborne for 15 years and we were keen to stay in the area.
“We had a clear vision as to how we wanted the space to work for our team, with room for us to expand and work collaboratively.
“As we are often dealing with complex challenges, the new open plan space allows discussion among team members and assists in ensuring all the team are aware of what is happening within the business and supporting each other to provide exceptional customer service to our clients and customers.”
MetroPM’s portfolio has expanded over the last few years, and the company, which has a sister office in Cheltenham, now manages properties throughout the country.
Ian Smallman added: “The current location of our office provides ease of access to the national road network and Birmingham’s central position in the UK positions us perfectly to service our clients.
“The leasehold sector is currently facing an unprecedented level of change and this is driving demand for clients to appoint established and experienced managing agents who specialise in residential service charge, who they trust and know will look after their assets and customers.”
Founder Matthew Arnold said: “We are passionate about the sector we work in and we aim to provide an exemplary service to clients and customers, working in partnership with all stakeholders.
“We have prided ourselves on building long standing trusted relationships with our clients and supporting them with management challenges. The new office space helps support this and ensures engagement with all team members.
“We have ambitious growth plans for the business and our new, increased office space allows for a positive approach to our continuing expansion.”
The growth trend was set earlier in 2020 with Ian Smallman joining as a director, and former Wright Hassell senior partner Richard Lane as a consultant.
