Award winning chartered surveyors Pennycuick Collins have been appointed as managing agents of the Old Library in Stourbridge. This is the third new block management appointment based in the Midlands for the residential service charge team in just over a month.
Director of residential service charge Lyndsey Cannon-Leach, commented:
“We are thrilled to be adding the Old Library to our portfolio. It is visually, a spectacular residential scheme we are very excited to be managing, which will increase our overall property portfolio to 5600 units at 155 schemes.”
Andy Robinson of Claremont Property Group added:
“Appointing Pennycuick Collins’ residential service charge team was an easy choice. With their wealth of expertise and knowledge of managing block residencies, we trust that the residential service charge team will provide an excellent service for our tenants in the upcoming months.”
The prestigious building pictured above was built back in 1905, and has been used as both a library and an educational establishment. In 2017, the Old Library underwent a two-year-long conversion project which transformed the rooms into individually unique apartments consisting of one and two bedrooms, boasting an array of architectural features including a spiral staircase, restored stained glass windows, and bespoke plasterwork.
Pennycuick Collins service charge portfolio has grown considerably throughout 2019 already, welcoming other block management schemes including Camden Village in the Jewellery Quarter and Belvedere Residence in Wolverhampton. Pennycuick Collins was also awarded the Residential Managing Agent award at the Insider Residential Property Awards in June this year and was recently awarded the Best Managing Agent of an RMC / RTM (Resident Management Company/Right To Manage) Block at the News on the Block Property Management Awards earlier this month.
